One of my favorite Bánh xèo places !!! You eat once there and will never eat at another restaurant in Hanoi again! This baby is like a Vietnamese savory crepe that is filled with pork and mung bean sprouts. You wrap this beauty with herbs and lettuce and dip it into a sweet savory lime dressing . And the owners and stuff employees also show you how to wrap it up!!! Very lovely gesture. And for free 😉
The dressing is super delicious and well flavored. And the dressing is the most important thing. It the dressing is bad the whole dish will taste bad.
Plus, it’s very well known by tourists , especially Koreans, and is located near the old quarter . So if you want to eat you have to wait sometimes in a queue.
But it’s worth at all and especially the price is very cheap. One Bánh xèo costs around 11k VND ( ~0.43€).
